We love veggies in our house, and it's even better if I can make them quickly with very little clean up. It took me forever to decide to buy an air-fryer. I just wasn't sold. But with 4 kids in the house and a husband who doesn't always get off in time for dinner, I was willing to try anything to help make dinner time easier. We've really tried to cut back on processed foods and in general we use fresh vegetables for everything. I'm sure frozen green beans could potentially work for this recipe as well, we just prefer fresh. Added bonus if they are organic, but that isn't always possible for us either. Below are the super simple steps to making crispy, delicious, air-fried green beans ready in just 20 minutes!

Step 1:
Add green beans to air fryer basket and season. I spray mine with avocado oil (olive oil works as well), and season well with salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of minced garlic. I just shake the basket so it mixes up and I'm done! So easy.

Step 2:
Set the temperature to 400 degrees and set the timer for 15-20 minutes depending on how crisp you like them. We prefer ours crispier so we usually do 20 minutes, stopping to shake the basket halfway.
Step 3:
Remove from air fryer. Serve. That's it! Seriously how easy was that? 20 minutes, minimal effort, and nothing but green beans, seasoning, garlic, and oil.

Recipe
Ingredients: 5 Total time: 25 minutes
What you need:
Fresh greenbeans
Minced garlic or 3 cloves of garlic
Salt
Pepper
Oil (I prefer avocado or olive oil)
Directions:
Put green beans in air fryer basket. Drizzle or spray with oil. You don't need a lot.
Season with salt and pepper and add a tablespoon of minced garlic.
Shake basket to mix oil and seasoning.
Set air fryer on 400 and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway, depending on how crispy you want them.
Serve immediately.
That's it! A healthy and delicious side with 5 easy steps. My husband loves this recipe. Comments or suggestions? Let me know!
